To some it would mean the end of a war but how does one define war? Is a conflict that results in ‘only’ 200 deaths not a war? Does it have to be a conflict as serious as the war in Afghanistan with thousands of casualties to count as a war? Generally I think people see war as between two or more nations but civil wars are still being fought. And what about the drug wars in Mexico and Columbia?
Even if the war in Afghanistan ends this year the world would not know peace. There many smaller conflicts continuing to destroy lives throughout the world. Many potential disputes are simmering just below the surface waiting for crazy individuals to turn the heat up. For there to be true peace all conflicts would have to end including the conflicts between government forces and criminals.
And true peace would include an end to crime and exploitation surely? I know, it’s a pipe dream. There are too many greedy people, too much hate for people perceived as ‘different’ and too many persons and organisations wanting to steal the freedoms of individuals. No government exists that does not interfere with individual liberty.
We have International laws, charters, treaties and constitutions that are supposed to guarantee freedom but they have made little difference overall. Governments ignore the laws, so do corporations. Law-enforcement agencies break the laws and so do self-seeking individuals.
At the same time laws that clearly conflict with the ‘Constitution of the United States’, the ‘Universal Declaration of Human Rights’, ‘United States Bill of Rights’ and the ‘Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen’ to name just four can and should be opposed and ignored by lovers of justice.
To slavishly obey laws that clearly break International and Regional human rights laws is a crime against humanity and it is our duty to disobey such bad laws. You cannot protect your property by cooperating with the burglar and we will not make the world better by collaborating with the criminal ruling class and their agents of terror.

Hi Dave how can you say you beleive in peace when you advocate breaking the law?
Laws are made by men, men who are almost all part of the criminal elite. Would you accept laws made by embezzlers, fraudsters, murderers, rapists or child abusers?
