Five years of lies, cover-ups, ‘lost’ evidence and corruption by the Metropolitan Police (MET) in London, England couldn’t hide the truth. The MET are just a bunch of legalised racist thugs who are sanctioned by our equally dishonest and corrupt government.
Throw the laughingly ill-named Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) into the mix and what we have is a body that merely does the bidding of its master with no accountability to the public it is supposed to serve. [Correction] The IPCC incidentally is independent in name only. It is not run by the cops but I have serious reservations about the officials in charge. When I last checked none of them came from the class most affected by police misbehavior. I will detail this in a later article. [End of correction] What a joke.
What happened to Babar Ahmad is appalling and now the High Court has ordered the MET to compensate him with £60,000 (almost 100,000 USD) for the “serious, gratuitous, unjustified physical and religious abuse”. All abuse charges were admitted by the MET Commissioner Sir Paul Stephenson but he refuses to apologise. No he can’t because he intends for it to all happen again. At the moment it’s Muslims, in the past it was Irish, Blacks and whoever the government and popular press decide to demonize.
