Eddie Gilfoyle Released But Gagged Scandal (Merseyside Cops Again)

In July 1993, Liverpool Crown Court jailed Eddie Gilfoyle for killing his eight-and-a-half months pregnant wife Paula Gilfoyle. The 32 year-old was found hanged in a garage attached to the home they shared in Upton, Wirral. Eddie Gilfoyle was jailed for 25 years.

Liverpool and Wirral come under the jurisdiction of the Merseyside Police Authority. Remember them? You won’t forget if I can help it. These are the bunch of criminally inept and corrupt cops that attempted, and partially succeeded, to censor this blog. These are the same cops who won’t let the public see a photo of (alleged) pedo police constable Simon Ferns.

Mr Gilfoyle has at been released following the revelation that the Merseyside police deliberately hid notes from the investigation. They hid them from the trial judge, the jury and the public who historically have the right that “justice be seen to be done”.

Last year new evidence was unearthed which cast doubt on his historic murder. Police notes from the time surfaced suggested that Gilfoyle was at work when his wife died. It transpires that these notes confirm that Eddie Gilfoyle was at work when the “murder” was committed. Except it wasn’t murder, there is strong evidence that Paula Gifoyle committed suicide.

Now after 18 years of his life wasted he has been released by the parole board. Unusually, they released him on his first application, but then gagged him. He is prohibited from talking about his ordeal and even pleading his case in public.

On release he made this statement, “I am not able to provide a response because the Parole Board has imposed a condition on my life licence that prohibits me contacting the media either directly or indirectly whether this is regarding my release or my appeal. This is a matter that I will be challenging through the courts but until that time I cannot comment”.

In other words they know he is innocent but because these toe-rags are part of the same corrupt system that put him in jail in the first place they pile on more injustice on injustice. To gag a man who has suffered incarceration due to police corruption is just plain wrong.

Eddie Gilfoyle was wrongly accused, wrongly convicted, wrongly jailed for 18 years and now with evidence piling up against the Merseyside Police he has wrongly been gagged. Well they won’t gag me! More on this failed police force is on it’s way.

Filth book
The relevance, niche and momentum for the ‘filth book’ page is really building, there are some serious questions relating to police conduct especially recently, and the skepticism towards, and evidence against them are growing exponentially by the week. ‘Like’ the page, voice your concern and see for yourself the alarming rate at which police are violating human rights and finding themselves neck high in scandal. There’s something systemically wrong with this institute. The only way it will change is when enough people question and scrutinise its legitimacy and moral values, and demand a change. It’s incredibly dangerous to allow such an insidious and politically questionable organisation to be responsible for protecting the people and their liberties. Get involved
