This poem was left as a comment by Anick Roschi on July 09 and I thought rather a shame that it was hidden away in the comment section. I decided to give it more prominence.
Homage to Aung San Suu Kyi By Anick Roschi
Orchid
At the seat of the Kings
An orchid
Dances its night
In the street the voices
Of the cuckoo of the crane
And the peacock
Are tinkling
Charged with emotion
The harp disguises
The goat, the cow, the horse
And the elephant
At the bestiary of the Kings
An orchid
Languishes the day

Homage to Anna Politkovskaïa
Dove
In a miserly desert
Of humanity
The glance of a dove
Settled where the wolves,
Low heads,
Are not wearied to howl,
In a poisoned desert,
Miserly of truth,
A dove, this evening, fell.
