The advocates and supporters of Tasers would do well to study the reports and analysis on your excellent site. But if they are not honest individuals as sadly, I doubt they are they will ignore the evidence until maybe they themselves come under attack for looking at a cop the 'wrong way'. Tasers are very often used for pain compliance, and there's no escaping the logical conclusion that, by their extreme excess of more-than-severe pain, they amount to "torture", in the legal sense of the word. I've also issued a challenge (so far unanswered) to find any legal, moral, ethical, practical difference between a taser used in Touch Torture mode (a.k.a. Drive Stun mode) and the glowing end of a smoldering cigarette used for the same purpose. The ONLY difference that I've ever found is that the cigarette is probably safer with respect to time-coincident risk of death.
