Nine Years Is The Average Age Of A Homeless Person In The USA

That statement was a tweet from Twitter member SUPREMESMITH. The statement shocked me and I just had to read more.

Her mission is to help the homeless and links to a Las Vegas web site aptly named www.streetteens.org.

“There are 400 teens homeless in Las Vegas and 200,000 in the United States of America” she claims. I know there are homeless everywhere, including here in the UK, but I found the average age and the numbers absolutely shocking.

A nation that fails its children is failed nation.
