Another instance of UK cops assaulting a member of the public. His initial arrest may have been justified but using the cs gas spray was not. The Essex cops used the cs gas illegally.
As this case unfolds I will report more fully. The woman in the video accepted a police caution it is reported.
UPDATE: Three police officers have been placed on restricted duty and an internal inquiry started after this film emerged of close-range use of CS spray on a man.
Some advice on accepting police cautions: DON’T, it may save you going to court but by accepting a police caution you are in effect ‘pleading guilty without trial’. There’s a good chance this is a try on by lazy cops who would not have proceeded with a prosecution anyway. In addition if you stand up before a court and plead your case there is a good chance you will be acquitted. Accept a police caution and you squander these two possibilities.
A police caution IS a reportable criminal offence and could affect your employment. Always get legal advice before submitting to anything a cop suggests. I am not a qualified law practitioner, I only offer this advice from experience. Last time I was prosecuted by cops I WON! Yes four lying cops and I defended myself and I WON! We all have more power than we think.

Here is a message to ALL dirty Cops, and those that think they aren’t. IF YOU CAN’T HANDLE THE PRESSURES OF LAW ENFORCEMENT, THEN QUIT! I am sick and tired of seeing these rambo cops terrorize the public because they feel they are ABOVE THE LAW. In fact you are NOT, you are worse then scum. And those officers that stand by and watch this happen, YOU ARE NO BETTER THEN THE ABUSER, because you allow it to continue out of fear or reprisal. Every cop should be held accountable and will be held accountable, either by criminal charges under criminal law, tort application under tort law or civil suit under civil law. EITHER WAY YOU ARE GOING TO GET WHAT’S COMING TO YOU for CORRUPTION OR EXCESSIVE FORCE.
Your days are numbered. PEOPLE NEED TO START STANDING UP AGAINST THESE IDIOTS WITH A BADGE and stop being afraid, it’s you being afraid they count on and crave. ETHICS,BOARDS,ACTS,HUMAN RIGHTS and LAW are there to protect you the people and FORCE police officers to ABIDE by them. So Get your video camera’s out and LET’S STOP POLICE VIOLENCE AROUND THE WORLD,ONCE AND FOR ALL. EXPOSE THESE THUGS FOR WHO THEY ARE and EXPOSE THOSE THAT ALLOW THEM TO STAY EMPLOYED to TERRORIZE more citizens.
And for anyone who thinks it can’t be done,I’ll tell you first hand YES IT CAN, Stand up and know your rights,stand up and protect your fellow man,woman, and child, and most of all Stand up and TELL THEM THAT’S ENOUGH! Takes 1 person to start saying POLICE BRUTALITY with evidence, and before long you have more supporters to stop the abuse from continuing. Don’t be a thug like they are, but do it in a mature and confident way to let them know they are being watched,recorded and will be reported.
And to those Officers that do protect the people as they were hired to do, and doesn’t allow fellow officers to violate a persons rights or physical being, I Commend you for a job well done.
