Here’s a story first read on the Reprieve web site that is not only disturbing in itself but even more disturbing that it exposes the Obama Administration as being, in it’s approach to openness and transparency at least, just as corrupt as the Bush regime.

The war in Iraq was illegal so these guys have some justification for their anger. But even if the wars had been legal all war is immoral and both wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have resulted in thousands of Muslims (and I am not forgetting the thousands of soldiers from the allied forces) loosing their lives. How would we feel if the boot was on the other foot? Do you want the torturers behind bars? Do you believe in justice for ALL people? Are you going to TAKE ACTION? Hey, I´ve got an idea! Why don´t we ask Bush and his mobsters to come down the CIA HQ “to help with our enquiries”, waterboard them all (after all it´s torture – they said so) and when they admit guilt render them to Texas and execute them with a lethal injection (because it isn´t painful – they said so)? |
