On ABC News February 14, former Vice President Dick Cheney boasted, “I was a big supporter of waterboarding”. In the interview he confessed to being a key player in the commission of war crimes during the Bush administration.
Here are my predictions:
1. Blair will justify his actions by lying and subterfuge.
2. Any damning evidence and testimony given by people close to, or consulted by the Government will be ignored.
3. Chilcot will deliver a white-wash verdict just like Hutton did in the inquiry into the murder of government weapons scientist Dr David Kelly.
If all three of those predictions are wrong I will eat humble pie and bare my arse on YouTube.
Torture can never be justified and it is also proved beyond doubt that information can be obtained more effectively by humane interrogation techniques. Bush and his cohorts have done irreparable damage to the reputation of the USA. But much worse they inflicted unlawful pain and degradation on people who are by definition innocent until proved guilty. And most were not guilty of anything!
The “War For Human Rights” may never be won but many battles will be. Individuals are more powerful than they think. YOU are more POWERFUL than you think. Amnesty International is a body of individuals who believe in justice, human rights, respect for the human and freedom.
That is seven years of torture, ill treatment, and detention without proper charge or trial. Today there are still over 250 prisoners inside, all of whom are facing an uncertain future.

Israel is at war with Hamas and Gaza. It has blockaded the State on land and sea. It has prevented vital supplies, food and medicine from being delivered. It prevents free movement of the population. It prevents free reporting of events. Israel, or to be precise, the government of Israel, is the aggressor and as its actions are against International Law they are the terrorists.
