The Phone Scammers March On

I’ve reported on this before when I got scammed by these thieving low-lifes and despite the so-called watchdog (regulator), www.phonepayplus.org.uk, telling me they’d fined the company £50,000 the scam continues. Why should we need legislation to solve this problem? To take money from a person forcibly or without there permission is theft. So we should be able to go to the police and ask them to investigate and act. Does that happen no!

Demand The Government End This Scam

Governments are elected to represent the people. One of the aspirations of the people when voting includes the expectation that the Government will protect them from theft and fraud. Mobile phones have now become instruments of payment and therefore we need the same protection applied to them that is only available at present on credit card transactions. Scammers can just steal from your mobile phone account with impunity.
