Now I am not suggesting that all cops are ignorant, sadistic low-life. But the more I research, the more I read and almost every time I come into contact with cops (yes, here in England too) even to ask directions I have to conclude that a good cop is an exception.

But not for torturing a 10-year-old little girl but for not turning the camera on that is attached to the Taser. In only five days the blogosphere will be humming with argument, protest, opinion and evidence about the Taser now being used as a weapon by law enforcement agencies in 44 countries. Join us and expand the discussion on the issue of tasering and how the issue threatens us all. I find it incredible that there are, despite all the evidence, still people who believe the Taser gun to be non-lethal. The United Nations has declared it an instrument of torture. Amnesty International has been warning about their use for years. It was probably the little girl realizing the cops were coming that calmed her down. She was sitting quietly when they arrived. So leaving the question “is it right to handcuff a child” for a moment. What the hell did these cops, including a female please note, think they were doing restraining her? Just kids having fun on skateboards in a public parking lot in Los Gatos, CA. A middle-aged dick-head worker at the parking lot decided to put an end to their fun by dismantling there makeshift ramp. Seems it’s not only cops who are on power-trips. One boy already skating towards it bumped into the board that Mr Dick-Head was now holding. It is suggested that bloggers devote December 4, 2009 to focus on the important issue of Taser brutality. Police brutality has recently gained attention in the United States. Many of us have seen horrible videos of police brutality on television. Often, police brutality results in serious injuries and even wrongful death. And more often than not, Tasers play the devil’s role in cases of police brutality. People power is the cell phone video! Long may it exist. Sergeant Delroy (Tony) Smellie is to appear in court on November 16 charged with assault. The Crown Prosecution Service gave this statement: “The Crown Prosecution Service has decided that there is sufficient evidence to charge Police Sergeant Delroy (Tony) Smellie with the offence of assault by beating of Nicola Fisher on 2 April 2009 at a demonstration in the City of London.” Stockton, Calfornia. Eighty One year-old Victor Schiaffini a disabled man who has suffered six strokes was forced to the ground and Tasered three times. The incident happened on July 29, 2009. Mr Schiaffini has lost the use of his left arm due the strokes and walks with the aid of a cane. The Seattle sheriff’s deputy pleaded not guilty to charges he assaulted a 15-year-old girl in a holding cell. Julie Chen of CBS News spoke with the girl and her father about the [deleted word] assault. [Deleted Word] All news media use the word “alleged” in their reports. Sometimes, where all the facts are nor clear, so do I. From today where video evidence is as clear as the above I refuse to include this bullshit word. The guilt of those cops is clear if the full force of the law is not used against then, in this case, the American Constitution is for nothing. |
