War criminal George Bush and his mobsters have gone. President Barack Obama has promised that US troops will leave Iraq in eleven months. The bombing and shelling of Gaza has stopped and there is a ray of hope in Zimbabwe.
But the US concentration camps remain for the time being many other countries have thousands of prisoners incarcerated with no hope of release or fair trial. Other countries, including the US, still have the death penalty. Torture is rife throughout the world. Many young African women are still being mutilated in a ceremony called female circumcision. And there is, sadly, much more.

Amnesty International is a body of POWERFUL individuals who believe in justice, human rights, respect for the human and freedom. I am a member and I post articles about human rights abuses on this blog. You see it only takes small actions by each individual. Join me in the “War Of Human Rights” by joining Amnesty International. Together we make a difference.
